Bio
Robert Kipness is a former attorney turned author who now calls Key West home. Trading the law office for the open waters, he is a licensed Captain with a deep love for nature and everything boating. He draws inspiration from the rhythms of island life—its colors, characters, music and local spirit—bringing that sense of adventure and authenticity into his writing. Away from the page, Robert treasures time with his wife Elise, their two sons, and their three lively Labradoodles. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Brooklyn Law School.
